MEET THE SPECTRUM TEAM

Every member of the Spectrum staff is committed to providing our clients with prompt, responsive, professional service. Our personnel have a wide range of experience in banking and insurance. This gives Spectrum a uniquely focused perspective that helps us respond more effectively to the needs of our clients and their customers.

Management Team

Tom McAndrews, President, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. – Tom has over 30 years of experience in banking and insurance. Early in his career Tom was President of a major Iowa-based Production Credit Association. For a number of years Tom also served as a lending consultant for banks. He remains active in banking today.

Larry Carroll, Executive Vice President, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. – Larry has extensive expertise and knowledge of the credit insurance industry. He began his insurance career at AON Corporation. Larry served in a variety of management positions in his 13 years with AIG. He was in charge of the claim operations for several years and then was the Director of profitability and reinsurance. Prior to Spectrum, Larry worked for Hawkeye Financial Services. His responsibilities included the marketing and sales functions along with training for Hawkeye’s insurance products.

Dan Hamann, President, Spectrum Life Insurance Company, and Chairman, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. – Prior to 2008, Dan served as President and Chairman of several Spectrum affiliated financial institutions. Dan received his B.A. degree from Iowa State University and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dan also received a graduate banking certificate from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Jim Clark, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. - Prior to joining Spectrum, Jim was the chief financial officer for an Omaha-based computer services company and held several senior financial positions with a major Midwest corporation. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and received a B.S.B.A. degree from Creighton University and his M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Scott Votava, Executive Vice President/Sales, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. – Scott has over 20 years of experience in banking and insurance and is responsible for credit life sales and service for Spectrum’s clients. Scott has received numerous awards recognizing his professional, dedicated customer service. Scott received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Keith Falconer, District Sales Director, Spectrum Financial Services, Inc. - Keith has extensive experience in both banking and credit insurance. He has served as a field representative, sales manager and agency development director for major insurance companies. Keith is responsible for Spectrum accounts in North Dakota and Minnesota.
